I actually read so many good and bad reviews that I ended up picking one up a few months ago just to find out for myself. The good news is that it works perfectly now, which means that it's an awesome pocket pistol. The bad news is that I had to have it sent back to Diamondback after the first time out shooting. The slide locked and wouldn't budge after 2-3 mags.
I purchased the gun at Jensen's in Loveland. They were great and sent the pistol back with no charge to me. Diamondback replaced the slide assembly and barrel and threw in an extra mag (and sticker) to say sorry. If I had it to do over again, I'd do the same thing. It now works perfectly and I feel confident carrying it. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your input,I've read pretty much the same thing.what I don't understand is why they have to get sent back to the manufacturer to be made right and there not made right to begin with. Also it sounds like jensons is a good dealer ill probably get one there.

Because mechanical devices sometimes break. Not every gun can be made perfectly, even the high quality models. At least DB made it right.

ya I get that, what I'm saying is it seems more of certain guns get sent back to be perfected.I have owned a lot of glocks and not had to send one back,And I know some people have had to,but certain ones you hear have been sent back more than others. That doesn't mean I'm not going to buy one though.I like em. And I don't know maybe in the early days of glock a lot were sent back for perfection.

lpgasman, believe me, I was pretty frustrated when the thing broke after ~20 rounds, but I'm pretty impressed with the service and turnaround. I really like the grip, sites, and it's now completely reliable. It's also pretty accurate for what it is.

Default I have one and love it

The DB9 is very small and packs a punch for such a small pistol. With hot loads it will sting your hand a little. I find its not really a target practice gun so who cares if it stings your hand. Very easy to conceal and it packs a punch.

They seem like what would come from a night of passion between a Glock 26 and a Kel-Tec PF9...

around the same price as the Kel-Tec, so I'd be surprised if they all functioned perfectly out of the box- Kel-Tecs are known for needing a "break-in", or a "fluff-n-buff" to run well

the fit-and-finish appears better than a Kel-Tec for the price, I'd try one out... with my geek background, I can't help but think of RS-232 Serial connections whenever I read db9
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, we are the III%, CIP2, and some other catchphrase meant to aggravate progreSSives who are hell bent on taking rights away...

I picked one up from jensens in loveland and put 150rds through it between me and my friend and I have to say my hands hurt afterwards, they itched like I had put in a full day of lawn mowing. I also shot some 147gr jhp winchester rangers through it with no problem, from what I read 124gr is the heaviest round they recommend.over all I like, easy to conseal but hard on your hand.
