Yep, had I taken the shot, I have a hard time believing they would be able to do much to me. 20 feet away, arrow through the frontal area of the lion, where it ended up being the chest or the face. tracks leading down toward me, hadn't killed anything so it isn't like I was picking the lion off my kill, or saw it in a tree and took it out. It was stalking me, even though it thought I was an elk, it was coming down hoping for an easy meal and damn near made its last move.
