Holy Crap! (kind of kidding on that one). That's moving my direction.

More serious note - the branching out seems related to another current post here regarding an animal encounter. I read in the Chieftain not too long ago there was a small one running around P-town. Although I'm not extremely knowledgeable in this area, it seems the food situation for the critters is getting about as bad as the economy is for us two-legged types. Expected location doesn't seem to apply as much these days. No real news story there, I suppose.

It seems logical to expect more encounters and/or situations that might not usually happen (both the two-legged and four-legged variety). I know this thread is about the four-legged variety and I don't mean it to introduce new discussion - just tossing out some food for thought for another day.

Hope this wasn't a hijack - now that I think I digressed (hopefully not too bad), back to the OP and on topic.
