New mag release button issues

I picked up a new Black Rain ordinance mag release button @ the Tanner Gunshow this weekend.

However, when I first installed it, it seems that the overall length of the new button is too long.

It pushes the opposing side of the mag release out too far.

Causing it to come out of its seat, and/or not hold the mag correctly.


it did come w/ a small o ring, but the o ring seems too small to eliminate the issue?

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Sounds like maybe the button isn't screwed onto the catch far enough maybe. I am not familiar with that particular button. Got any pictures of it installed?
