Default I find this a little disturbing...

Saw this on another for sale forum today

    The ad reads:
    "For Sale: glock 26
This gun has never been fired. Bought at Sportsman's Warehouse. Have receipt with my name on it. Been carried for about a year and stored for the last 9 months. Gen 3. Comes with +1 on both mags. Cash only. Located at Eastmeadow and Cheyenne Mountain Road. Thanks"

Anyone else seeing what I am?

Nothing quite like carrying a handgun that you've never fired.

Ya, but its probably pretty common.

Ammos expensive, mags are expensive, I don't have time, I don't have a place to shoot, memberships and ranges are too expensive, it doesent matter, I'm the greatest in the world with a pistol already, practicing is overated...

These are all easier to say than just shooting.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

He is REALLY trusting of Glock's reputation for reliability. He probably carried it unloaded too.

I think the seller is full of shit. He may never have fired it, but every Glock you buy comes with a casing in that caliber from the test fire... so it's been fired once.
Side note: I don't trust my abilities and familiarity with any of my weapons brand new until I've put a few 100 rounds through them... and then I strip and clean them. I didn't carry my 1911 until I put 250 rounds through it and gave it it's first cleaning.

It goes to prove that even the people that own Glocks don't want to shoot them.

    BAM!

That's one for the "your gun is poop" thread in the polymer pistol section.
