all wise advise- All I can add- don't look for when you can draw...

I've had my permit for almost a year now- never drawn outside of training on my property or at a range... thankful for that!

I dread the day that I have to draw in public- but less than the day where something happens that I could have intervened, but wasn't prepared... that's what CCW is about, that little window.

I hope this makes sense- if it doesn't, try reading "on wolves, sheep and sheepdogs" by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, U.S. Army (Ret.).

Here is where I first found it: http://www.policeone.com/police-hero...and-Sheepdogs/

Thanks for all the advice. That was a really good article. I'm 36 and have been hunting since I was 10. I hope I never have to draw on anyone.

Congrats. Take a few courses. I have taken several since getting mine and I didn't realize until after this training how unprepared I was when I started out.
