“I was famous once — Oprah Famous” Iraqi boy who saved U.S. troops grows up to struggle with his American dream
ContinueRWBN: A nice-looking young man of middle eastern descent with a tattoo of Jesus on his bicep walked into my store, The Patriot Shop, and shuffled through a few conservative t-shirts. After ordering a few anti-Obama t-shirts, we began to “small talk” about politics when he mentioned how very unhappy he was with President Obama and that he was not a big fan of President Bush and the Iraq war either. That’s when he looked at me and said “I was famous once — Oprah Famous.”
I asked the young man what had made him famous? He told me to Google “Steve-O Iraqi Boy,” and, wow, he found the right place walking into a store called the “Patriot Shop.” What a story! What a Patriot!!
Steve-O spinning his sign
The first article that caught my attention when I Googled him was titled: Steve-O, Iraqi boy hero meets Oprah. He wanted me to look at the images before the articles, which is where I saw a young Iraqi boy in several pictures with American soldiers sitting on tanks and playing basketball with smiles from all. You could see the love.
Jim Cross the owner of the Patriot Store and RedWhiteBlueNews.com wants to arrange something to help this boy. Please read and share...
Thanks
