    Default Computer question

I have a laptop that I got used. It came with Office 2007. Can I move that to another computer without having the license?

Just use the keycode (but you need the key) and you should be fine as long as its the same version (home, pro, etc).

It has been quite some time since I did something similar. Google on finding the license key in the registry and you will need install media. Otherwise it is fairly complicated to move instance of MS Office.

These days OpenOffice has gotten pretty darn good and is a viable alternative.
