    Default Steel Targets: Tanner Show SEPT 23rd...looking for the guy..

    HELLO!!

    Anyone go to that TANNER SHOW on SEPT 23rd??

    There was a guy in the back selling steel targets, he said he lives in Aravda. I picked up his buisness card to call him when I was ready to get a better list of prices.... well... hell if I didn't lose his card. Anyone pick one up from him?? Can you post the name and number ... please.

    I personally never wrote any of his sample prices down, sorry. But I DO remember that he had target stands for $59/each. Just your basic metal stands, nothing fancy. http://www.tuffsteel.com/index.html actually has MUCH better prices on target stands if that is what you're after.

    He also had these orange polymer targets that looked interesting. He insisted they were more durable than steel as long as you don't use JHP rounds. ???

    If you need rifle grade steel targets, the IPSC club in Pueblo usually orders steel once or twice a year. Its all CNC plasma cut stuff.

    If you want softer steel, its much cheaper than AR-500.

    My CNC program has most all shapes in it already. Everything like pepper poppers, IPSC targets, NRA animal silhouettes, stars, triangles, squares, ect.

    or you could run down to Speken and spend .25 a pound and buy the plates from cinder block molds.

    actually I havent shot them yet I have been slackin, I wanted to today but didn't feel all that great. I will post up results this week sometime.
    Actually I may get out there tomorrow and give them a test run.
