Want to view a match in Pueblo. I viewed one last month in Aurora, nice folks there. Long drive.
Does any here know whether there will be a match next weekend, the 4th Saturday or 4th Sunday in Pueblo?
Thanks.

www.ecouspsa.com will give you the schedule for most of the matches along the front range.
Pueblo goes something like this.
1st Sunday, we rest or shoot IPSC in Aurora.
2nd Sunday, IPSC.
3rd Sunday, IDPA.
4th Sunday, Tactical Rifle.
5th Sunday, (when there is one) we shoot steel up in Boulder or rest.
Dont just come out and watch, bring a gun and holster and give it a try. What do you have to lose? Your first match is free....

Thanks. I guess next Sunday then. What time should I arrive and what should I bring?
Thanks.
Hey Tom...
Tell me more about the Boulder shoot...

Oh... And what exactly is "tactical rifle?"
Good thing you said please mister...Originally Posted by Pistol Packing Preacher
The months when there is a 5th Sunday, Charlie Rollins put on an all steel match. Starts around 9:00. Good time. The match fee is maybe $10-15.

Its kind of a generic term for evil black guns. Targets from 100 yards to 425 yards, most of it reactive steel.Originally Posted by stubbicatt
Most popular is the AR with a scope.
Standing back, hitting an 8 inch plate at 300 yards looks easy. It aint. From a bench and bags sure, but from a rice paddy squat or some awkward posistion off some stairs that target is no freebie.
Attendance was poor today, but we were a conflict with the Blue Steel match this weekend in New Mexico.

today was fun, I had a blast.
hitting 8" plates at 300yds with a 16" AR is even harder. I gotta bring out the big dog next time.

Next Sunday the 29th? No matches at all in Pueblo. Not even Silhouette, Cowboy or High power. Just Boulder steel.Originally Posted by stubbicatt
Saturday is Aurora IPSC.
Looking at www.ecouspsa.com/schedule.html it shows a rifle match at Pueblo this weekend. Not true. Its the fourth Sunday of every month.
