Heads-Up: New Gun Store in Town

A friend is opening a new gun store right next door to me. It'll be in his existing log products manufacturing facility here in Bailey, right on Hwy 285.

He'll start small and expand as needed and possible.

Expect prices on new guns to be in the "Cost + 10%" range with a sales tax rate of only 3.9%. That combo should make for some pretty competitive prices from a storefront retailer.

I expect a formal opening NLT the end of the month, most likely sooner. He's just tying up a few loose ends and awaiting product and signs.

He mentioned something to me about a NIB AK-style rifle (assuming it's a CAI WASR or similar) for $389...gonna go check it out today.

Well...I don't really know any more than what I posted. It's in the "TJ's Wood Products" building right on Crow Hill. Jason Rayburn is the owner. I think the name he decided on is "Colorado Gun Broker".

He's got his FFL and POS/Computer systems in and has about 40 guns in stock already. I think he's just waiting on signs at this point.

I'll fill you in on more after I talk to him this morning.

Damn, ever since I move out of Evergreen all this cool shit happens... oh well, I still work up there, so Bailey is only a short hop on 285. I'll be there to check this place out!
