My only complaint about Ann is that whatever blogging software she's using doesn't allow linking to individual posts and doesn't work with Google Reader ... so I have to make it a point to go remember to read her blog.

Sorry gotta say it:
Cuz that is what the good book teaches us.....to hate and retaliate. Not saying what the other guy said was alright but aren't we supposed to love those that sin and turn the other cheek?
Christianity went the opposite direction of Islam (in terms of the book)...
As time went by Christianity became MORE peaceful: Old testament- Eye for an eye, Sodom and Gomorrah, smite, etc. New Testament- Turn the other cheek, teachings of Jesus, etc.
As time went by Islam became MORE violent: Early years- embrace the people of the book (Jews and Christians). Later years- Mohammad a warlord, killing non-believers (all those who are not Muzzies)....
So no, the good book teaches us different things, it's what bits and pieces you want to interpret and use in your life. Hence why I don't follow a mainstream hypocritical "religion."
