    Couldn't make it either Sept. or Oct. now. Maybe try for Nov., but then that's coyote season. Are there any other matches like this for 22 LR anywhere in the state?

    Although not exactly as ours, there are quite a few Small Bore Silhouette matches around. Their course of fire and shooting positions are a bit different than our match but they are really fun too and well worth checking them out.

    I don't remember what weekend it is that they hold it but there is a Small Bore Silhouette match at the Pikes Peak Range in Pueblo West.

    Ok,what another great time,great event thanks Wildlife Hunters!!!!oh ya and Cy,my wife will no longer be competing,she is grounded from all shooting sports that i enter from now on!!!!!...................god she whooped me

    While it's nice to see all the fine rifles sporting glass, I'm really looking for some competition in the open sights

    Consider it a Father's Day gift to your whole family. Come shoot some steel dogs this Saturday.

    I picked up a second .22LR rifle and I was going to get one with open sights. In the end, the temptation of putting a scope on it was too much...
