May I make a request for September? The fan (source of wind) was a bit strong last month. I was grouping a few different .22lr rifles yesterday and someone must have turned the fan all the way up. Very strong gusts. My bullets were fighting a head wind all the way

I'm thinking about switching to my Marlin 981. How strict will you be on the tube magazine reloading for the one string where we could shoot up to 30 rounds? Every other string being 10 rounds would mean I wouldn't need to reload at all. I can reload the tube safely, and will have some pre-loaded straws to drop rounds in the tube. It just looks odd after watching all of the box magazine fed rifles.

I just thought it would be nice to give something else a try.

Are you saying that shooting a .22LR at a plate 200 yards away in 25mph crosswinds is a difficult shot?

Bring that 981 and let's give it a workout. I am sure you will shoot String 3 clean and you won't even need more than 10 rounds but, if you do need a few extra round, no one is going to complain about reloading a tube-magazine.

Oh, I plan on it. I am looking forward to see what she will do.

    See you all there.

Hopefully I don't get called into work, but I'm trying to get out there along with a friend and my dad to try this out.
