It seems like the weather is going to be gorgeous this coming weekend; it would sinful to not hold this match. I will see you folks on Saturday!

What would a 10/22 with a red dot shoot in, open sights?

No magnification; I would guess counts as open sights.

4 MOA red dot will completely cover the dog past 100 yards. You will be holding over the same way I do with open sights.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

A red dot would fall under "Scoped Rifle". Open Sights is for post-and-notch or peep-sights only.

Okay thanks, I may just put the scope on it then. I will not be able to make it tomorrow. I sent my fcg out for a trigger job, but I hope to go to the November match.

You are certainly welcome to you use my rifle if you wish. I always bring plenty of extra ammo. The only thing I ask of you is to please don't beat me too badly with my own rifle!

I just installed a Kidd trigger kit in my 10/22 this evening. I will bring it tomorrow along with four other .22lr rifles. You are welcome to use any one of mine. I shoot Federal bulk pack, and you are welcome to run whatever you bring or use some of mine.
