Short answer - no. Shoot the crap out of it, enjoy it and when you finally shoot it out, replace it with a quality chrome-lined barrel.

Mutt got it pretty well but I will add:
    Keep it clean
    Keep it oiled
Minimize shooting steel cased ammo- steel on bare steel is not conducive to optimum chamber life.

You don't need to worry. I had a non-lined M1S pencil barrel that would still make 2" groups at 100m when fed good ammo, after 10k+ rounds of Wolf and other steel ammo. No appreciable degree of maintenance done on that gun, either.

Shoot, have fun, and be thankful for our lack of humidity.

What he said. Would a chrome lined barrel last longer and take more neglect? Probably. Will your non-chrome lined one shoot just fine and provide many rounds of enjoyment? Yes, it will.

For accuracy I actually prefer a non-chrome lined barrel.
In fact I don't own an AR with chrome lining nor will I.

True statement- non chromed are true to size. Chrome are a smidge oversize to account for the thickness of the chrome plating.
