What did the weight come out to?
Nice looking rifle.
i havent weighed it yet but i think its about 6 lbs its my lightest rifle by far ill try to get my fish scale out annd weigh it
nice setup, how do you like those troy mags?
I decided to not let video bias stop me from buying one. I havent shot it yet, but my intial impression is that they are not top quality. Troy makes great rails, and sights, but their polymer products are lacking I think. I saw the new Del Ton trx AR last week. It has the trx rail, their battle ax stock and their mag. The stock wobbles more than any other I have ever seen.
With the mag it feels flimsy, even the finish is a bit crappy. Still have a lot of flash from molding on it. I'm going to do some tests on one and see what happens. I'll post a review when I'm done.
Take a look at this, i don't think they are even close to Pmags.

To me that was a dumb test lets see them run over the gun. I would like to see real world testing like shooting them, get them wet, dusty, muddy, greasy, heat them up,ect but running them over and doing burnouts on them is just plain dumb and it should have been done on a more controlled surface shuch as concrete. IN MY OPINION TROY MAGS ARE A GOOD PRODUCT AND THE FIT AND FINISH IS GOOD JUST DONT RUN IT OVER WITH YOUR TRUCK DUMBASS
jesus dude, theyre just magazines, you dont have to get all butthurt about them running your favorite one over...
I have an idea (and I mean this in all seriousness), why dont you run a torture test on battlemags? Put a couple through the grinder so you can prove their durability. I think that would be something fun to watch.
(nice rifle btw, I had mine almost exactly the same when I first did it. solid first build)
