PS - I was down-the-hill but my lady called to let me know it was snowing on the home-front. Nothing accumulated but...damn...snowed yesterday here and it is 28 degrees right now. I'm good, ski season is just around the corner.
What tires are you looking for?

It was a bit cold on the bike this afternoon, but the crappy weather kept a lot of people indoors so the roads were mostly empty.

few accidents today on the roads. I went out on the atv...took a couple hours to feel my left index finger after that. didn't have the right gloves with me.
back at home now in my blanket with my laptop! that cold came waaaay too fast. I was hoping for more of a gradual decline in temp! only in colorado!

About 9" total snow today. Sun came out for awhile and took away half of it, but cloudy and heavy fog again. Round two maybe?

I love winter. But I do live in Aurora. I have two cords of wood stacked up in my shed, and some that I didn't quite get to out in the current rain (dang nab it!!!). That will get its own stack tomorrow in the shed and used around middle of winter when it has dried out a bit. I do need to get a fire going as it is 59 degrees in the house right now. Burr. But the Baileys and hot coco is helping cut the chill a bit. Gonna do peppermint schnapps with hot coco next.

Get a good enough party going and you wont have to worry about that fire!

Winter sucks anywhere...except maybe in the tropical zones. I'd rather live through winter in Bailey than the metro area any day.

It actually stays warmer up here during the really cold spells than it does in Denver. Frequently during the arctic cold snaps the cold air layer is too shallow to make it up this high.

I can't tell you the number of times I've left Bailey when it was sunny and 40-something only to get down to Denver where it's cloudy and 10 degrees.

Really pretty light this morning around 0700. Things looked almost black and white except for the changing aspens.

Thought these came out pretty good:
