Seems like Sen Scott Brown is a little too quick for one of his would-be challengers.

Elizabeth Warren, a Harvard professor, took a swipe at Brown during a democratic candidate debate. A questioner in the debate brought up Brown posing nude for Cosmo when he was in college. Warren responded by saying, "I kept my clothes on." Clearly a jab at Brown...who did the photo shoot to pay for school.

When told about Warren's comment Brown laughingly replied, "Thank God."

So my question...why is it OK for Warren to make a disparaging comment about Brown but turnabout isn't fair play?

I notice liberals do this sort of thing all the time. They want to have the freedom to say what they want but don't want to be challenged on what they say.

My wife and I caught the same story. Big deal. And my thoughts were the same: A non liberal states facts and they are labeled a racist or something similar, hate speech for saying "Thank God".
I think it must be something within the mind programming of a liberal that hypocrisy and personal attacks are acceptable.
I applaud Brown-he did what he had to do to pay for his college-so what?
It was in Cosmopolitan magazine-so what?
My 84yo mom reads Cosmopolitan for Chrissake.

I read that story too. I donated to the scott brown campaign. he isn't the best of politicians for our cause, but he is the best thing mass a 2 shits has seen in a very long time. progress back to reality from the crazy liberal mindset will take small baby steps.

and yes it is bullshit that she went on the attack, then got offended that she is ugly and tried to turn it around on him.

I just read what the OP wrote OUT LOUD to my wife and mom and got a really good laugh from both of them.

Case closed, Warren can suck it.

Or... probably not suck it... I can't imagine a crime that would fit that punishment.

maybe the liberals can get together and enact that punishment over capital punishment. let the criminal decide....I am guessing there is going to be a large need for the poison they inject with.

Just like everything else. They are always right and any challenge is ridiculous because they are right. As always they are trying to shove their agenda and crap down our throats no matter how wrong, how inappropriate or how horrible it really is. It's okay for them to challenge us but never the other way around.

Seriously nobody sees a difference between the two? One is saying, "I think you made a bad decision in taking your clothes off for a camera", and the other is saying, "Oh yeah, well you are ugly."

That said, she shouldn't get up in arms about it. And if she was really liberal, why would she care that he'd done nudie pics? That's a shtick of the moral majority... and so is getting indignant when someone slams your insult back in your face, even if they resort to playground tactics to do it.

No, I don't see a difference. She made a snarky comment that was a thinly-veiled personal insult regarding a decision he made. He returned with a personal attack regarding her looks.

Frankly, I don't think either comment is appropriate. But, yeah...she doesn't occupy the moral high ground here.
