Just a note on DCF. On Saturday I went in the store with my wife, who despite being married to me for over 20 years is still afraid of guns. Thankfully, she tolerates my firearms pursuits. We were in the area and I asked if she would care to join me in a quick visit to get some sling swivels. She at first said, "No, I'll wait in the car." I let her know that DCF wasn't a "typical" gun store populated by paranoid middle-aged men who look askew at you when you walk into their shop. She didn't believe me, but reluctantly agreed.
I'll just say that she was pleasantly surprised by the professional and friendly staff. The store is CLEAN and ORGANIZED. The branded DCF shirts makes the store staff look like they are on the same team, too. The sales staff were happy to see us (not just me, but her too) and they helped me find what I was looking for. In other words, they executed very well on customer service. This kind of experience helps bring those into the shooting sports and Second Amendment movement in a positive way.
Centennial Gun Store was nice, too. I will have to give it the "wife test" soon
