Looks like a poorly made, sons-of-guns remake to me(as if sons of guns didnt already set the bar for bad reality TV)......

As others have said, I cant see much in that guys safe that would be too special. the win. trapper carbine and the '73 were pretty cool, but thats about it. I really liked the rich guys gun room though. Wish I could afford something like that.

I have something similar in my house..... OK, so I have a gun safe in my closet. That's pretty close though, right?

You would be better served to walk in and set it on the counter. When asked simply tell them you are embarrassed to own it.

I wasn't sure if I was watching Sons of Guns with blondes or if this was a new show. They sound EXACTLY the same. Rich says he is a retired cop; he was a reserve officer with Aurora. How do you retire from a job you never were paid for?

    Boring.

Not a Rich Wyatt fan, but had to watch one for the sake of discussion.

I have a little different angle. How does this show come across to the non-enthusiast and/or firearm ignorant?

IMO could be interesting show, major fail due to participants.

One word- contrived. I remember seeing that Sheriff's gun that he supposedly bought about 5-6 years ago on Gunbroker, he had it then and was trying to get way to much money for it. The problem is I just know too much about the guy and the stuff he was buying/peddling. Maybe if I knew nothing it would have been more interesting. Mevshooter had a great point, combination of pawn stars and sons of guns, I don't watch either, won't be watching this one. Not enough boobies either. Nor do they ever change clothes.

    Major fail!

You really think this will do the firearms community anything than paint us in the same light to the ignorant?
    Embarrassing

+1, one episode was more than enough.
