Default IAC 372 Ithica 37 copy

Does anyone know were I can get parts for a IAC or Norinco 372 copy of the Ithica 37? are any of the 37 parts interchangable? and are these shotguns any good? I have looked every were I could on the net and have not found any parts for this gun. I really like the gun and would like to find a pistol grip and a mag extension for it, I can live without the pistol grip but I definitely want the mag extension. Thanks for your time.

    Default Ithica

Try Sharps in Canada. He worked for Ithica and bought much of their inventory when they went out of business.

Good luck there Choo-Choo, parts out of Canada will cost you dearly in duties if and that is a big if Customs will allow firearm parts to be imported.
Dont waste your time, money and effort on the ChiCom knock offs.
All of the Chinese stuff that is cloned will have weird quirks to it such as oddball thread dimensions and odd dimensions when compared to the US Ithica. They retro engineer this stuff and I dont think they have the whole SAE to Metric conversion quite figured out. To try and adapt the Ithica parts will end up costing more than it is worth.

Try looking at a Stevens shotgun, another knock off Ithica, $239 at Big 5 this week.

Adding a magazine extension to a Ithaca 37 clone would be difficult. They have a piece attached to the barrel that extends down in front of the magazine end cap to support it and it also locks the barrel in place. That piece would have to be moved.

ATI has adapters for putting a pistol grip on an Ithaca 37. I have carved on one to made it work on a Stevens 350 but it doesn't match the profile of the receiver shape. In other words it functions but looks like ca-ca.

I will just leave it be then. I already have 200 into it I think it has been so long I forget how much I payed for it, it maybe only 100 or 175. And I have a M 500 with a 20 inch barrel and a 7 shot mag tube and pistol grip for my HD gun.

Why is it that you seem truly incapable of buying a quality American-made major-manufacturer firearm? It seems that 75% of your posts involve issues with your foreign-made import copies of quality American steel. Maybe if you stopped buying crap you would have more reliable guns. I mean really. Not trying to offend or start up again with you. Try thinking American- like Colt, Remington, Springfield, Winchester, Smith & Wesson. Can't you just try?

that one had me shooting Pepsi out my nose and down my shirt.
I know it wasn't intended to be funny, but it sure the heck had me gasping for breath and blowing Pepsi out of my nose for 5 minutes.

Thats funny I dont recall having any problems with this gun I just wanted to upgrade it. Please dont judge me by what I post cause you have no idea what I own. The guns I post and talk about I dont care if people know about them, and they are nice guns most of them. It is just like you thought I did not own a PPS-43 cause I did not talk about it. I have not talked about over 3/4 of my guns, what I have posted does not even make up for 1/4 of what I own.

Now boys- this is not the place to be measuring peckers.

Maybe Train is shooting what he can afford right now. While there is lots to be said about owning stuff that is common everybody has different tastes. Point is he is shooting.
Besides, there is a certain entertainment value to it.
Now hold hands and sing "Koombaya"
