I'm not sure how that statement qualifies as 'liberal slant', nor would I call what is going on 'my protest'.
I'll be downtown sometimes on a game day and I find that traffic is impeded by people going to see the game. I'm not a big baseball or football fan, but the last thing that enters my mind when the light turns green and there is still a steady stream of fans crossing the street is that my rights are being infringed.
Nor do I feel that my rights are being infringed when I go somewhere and I can't get in because it is crowded.
I'm merely saying that being inconvenienced is generally just an inconvenience to most of us unless we can find something within it that we don't agree with. Then we scramble to the 'infringed rights' argument.
