Your opinion is as good as mine. However, I think your last sentence describes the Occupy movement perfectly. Their "manifesto", as shown earlier in this thread "proves" it to me anyway. It's ALL about freebies. No- of course I am unable to provide facts to back my claim as to the percentage of Dems- just my opinion!!

Post #37. I have already heard some of these on various news shows, but had not seen them all together until I read that post. It's all about freebies: Debt forgiveness, guaranteed income, free college education, various "rights" not actually in the Constitution, etc, etc.
All very leftist demands too. Stuff that won't work even by force... forget about if left on its own merits. Like: end energy from oil and go to a green source that doesn't work and isn't cost effective.
Free college.
Stuff like this is what brought down Greece and made the UK look like a bunch of wankers.

at any rate, if i was governor, id walk out there with my mega phone and qoute the entire scene from big lebowski in lebowski's office. "the bums lost! condolensences! my advice to you is to do what your parents did, get a job sir!" so lets see, we want free education, free healthcare, free food, a guaranteed job that you can never lose, what else?

I'm glad that people in here had some points that differed from the mainstream (mainstream for this site anyway) because I was having similar thoughts.
