I didn't see another post about this site, so sorry if it's a repeat. Here's an NRA sponsered site that has some video clips of the gun confiscation that happened in N O LA.
Of coarse this couldn't really happen because all the antigun nut's say they aren't really trying to take away law abiding citizens right to own guns.

Pissed me off too.
Thinking about it since I posted this, I wonder what them liberal LA. politicians, and gun confiscaters would have done with people who have guns like those of us that have the Uzi's AR15's AK47's, and the like. They went bat shit over people who just had a little .38 six shooter, and people who just had hunting rifles. I'll bet the media would have been more likely to show them confiscating these kind of guns, then just normal type guns.
Well, I'm just amazed that no cops were shot. I honestly can't believe not a single one of those gun owners had the conviction of their beliefs to say no. :roll: As far as I'm concerned, they don't deserve the right to own them. :cry: Karl.
I have thought alot about this.
I have always believed that the 2nd Ammendment is in place to protect us from a tyranical totalanarian government.
It sound like Science fiction, or Paranoia. Maybe it is. Bt this is an example of what can quickly happen. Wonder if it was taken further. And larger. How quickly would the United States become 100% sumbisive to an complete power Gov't. And how long after that do the Free People of the State become nothing but worthless subjects owned nby the State.
We have beware of enemys Foriegn and Domestic.
That includes our own Government.
The 2nd Ammendment covers our freedom. Period.
And people NEED to own firearms.
Not Mausers, .22lr's , and deer guns...
But AR's and AK's and 50BMG
to insure our freedom.

My Aussie buddy, has shot a 9mm handgun before. He went to a shooting range to do it. The gun was suspended in the air with bungy cables. Basically he could aim it just a few inches and pull the trigger. That's how paranoid the Aussie government is. His father owned a hunting rifle. They came and confiscated when they did an inspection to make sure it was secured. They came for the check and the gun was not in it's gun safe, so they took it, and he can't have it back.
The guy I know in England thinks his paintball gun is a hoot. But that's about how powerful a gun they can have there. And those are just 2 of the freer countries in the world.
I've told my Aussie buddy, if he get's over here to America again, I'll make sure he get's to shoot my guns, and do my best to get one of you guys with your awesome FA guns to meet us.

If you wonder what would happen you're not putting any serious thought into it. There'd be no standoff, because they'd have no reason to stop and argue the point with you. The cop would die and so would you. They'd hit you so hard and so fast the best you could hope for was to take another one with you so the next guy has a few less to deal with. If more had that mentality, the seizures would stop because the cops decided they didn't like the attrition rate. Karl.
I'm with Karl on this. I think this would be a cold dead fingers situation. It's hard to believe this was happening in the USA. Didn't they just pass legislation to stop confiscation in an emergency or am I hallucinating? That should prevent this in the future.
Potentially the "new" legistlation will prevent this in the future, however as I read the 2nd, that verbeage was specifically, clearly and intentionally penned to prevent it in the first place. As many other millions in this country have already voiced, "WTF"? Substitute 'What' if you like, but at this point I am asking myself, 'WHY TF' are we allowing this?
If they show me a search warrant I will show them my guns,
Can't think of one reason -ever- for someone to leave with one!
