    Default What does it take to be FA Legal?

    What does it take to be FA Legal? I'm Just wondering, I'm non Military CCW carrying person with an AR-15 and was wondering what would it take to become Legal to purchase an FA Firearm?

    Just some easy paperwork and about $10-15,000 for a transferrable M-16. $8-10K for a FA 10/22.

    If its legal in your county and you can buy/own a firearm, your already legal.

    There is more to it than that, but that the short answer.

    If you're serious about NFA ownership, Google for "Bardwell NFA FAQ" and read it thoroughly.

    FWIW, James is a Colorado native and really sharp attorney.

    ok maybe the money isn't the best news for me and the more you think about it brass is going to be very expensive but look at the bright side Tom my wife loves your avatar!!
