There seems to be a misconception that "Droid" means one model or manufacturer of phone... it's an OS, and there are many different flavors of "droids" from several different companies to suit different needs (one of the other things I like) I have NOT experienced battery issues as you describe with this LG (I admit it's not a very high-powered droid, I'm not that gadget- hungry)Originally Posted by clublights;

also cost, I got this droid for $60 with no contract- so I am able to use a cheaper contract that doesn't subsidize phones
I agree it mostly comes down to preference- if someone gave me an iPhone, I'd look for a way to trade it for a droid. so it's not even about price, they just don't do it for me...
