    Default Opinions Please

I have made this new style AR front sight, tested it on a S&W 1522 and it is great.
Going to test it this week side by side with a standard.

Can't really tell from the pictures, is the sight fully hooded? Any chance you could throw up some shots of the sight alignment view?

As for a fully hooded or even partially ala HK hooded front sight. Interesting turn on the standard fixed front sight for the AR. Seems like a niche, or look cool kinda thing to me. But hey, that's how AR15.COM has become the beast it is.. not to mention, there's always someone that wants something different. I'm just not sure I'm seeing the need if you know what I mean?

Still, no reason why you shouldn't go forward with it. BARFCOM Fan boys will buy them up if the price is right.

I really like the look of it. As for its uses as BadShot said, I don't know if it'd be about a "better" front sight, it just looks cool. Although, I don't see why it wouldn't be a bit nicer to have this with a scope mounted. Take the sight post out and you may have a little clearer field of vision through the scope. I'd build an AR with one of those.

Thanks for the input guys, I just did a first test along with another AR, and I think it's as accurate or more and a faster target aquistion factor.

I would really like to meet one of you with military training at BluCore and get you opinion, I'll supply the ammo and 2 ARs ????
