Maybe you can write them a letter with the "list of things a protest needs to have before I care". Make sure "American Flags" is listed right after "Belongs to the Tea Party".

All I need to say is: Tea Party calling for Obama's impeachment.

I do. I don't agree with the fringe Communist bull**** that is suddenly what the media is saying the protests are about, because that's not it. It's just the angle in which it's being twisted to discredit the actual message.

I don't know Deus- it ALL appears to me to be about redistribution of wealth, larger gov't, the "right" to free education, the "right" to free housing, forgiveness of all debt (which as it nice as it might seem, is insanity). It's all around the fringes of pure Marxism and pure Socialism and anti-Capitalism.

That's pretty much what I'm seeing from them.

I hate how down town looks crappier and crappier with this type of stuff. I am glad the park is closed due to the occupy people.

That is what the media is saying. Remember how the media lies to show their "truth" regarding gun ownership and gun rights in America? Surprise, surprise they're lying about Occupy Wall Street.

The core of the protest is there's a lot of people who feel the system has failed them. And it has...1% of people own 40% of the wealth. The middle class is all but gone. The gap is getting wider...the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Despite what the government says, ACTUAL unemployment is approaching 20%. Educated Americans can't find jobs, small businesses pay more taxes than "too big to fail" corporations, banks exploit their customers. Politicians are bought and sold the moment they think about running for office.

Some people resort to extremism when they feel they are stretched to the extreme. That's why you see people making Communist demands. It happens. That's not what everyone is after. Some people still have hope.

I haven't seen gun owners holding up signs saying felons deserve guns, too.

I HAVE seen signs demanding global forgiving of debt as the OWS demands.

I saw just as much derp from Tea Partiers.

The media is trying to marginalize this the same they did with the Tea Party, by focusing on the biggest idiots or the most extreme in the crowd. It's the same damn thing.

For the first few weeks they attempted to ignore it until it would go away. Complete media blackout. Then, when it became too big to ignore, they immediately went for the people doing drugs, breaking laws, saying crazy **** or had the craziest signs. Which is a tiny fraction of the people.

I heard reports today stating that certain MSNBC anchors were emailing the Occupy folks with ideas on how better to get their message out, how to get better coverage, etc. I also watched a bit of Democracy Now! today and you cannot tell me that they tilt their coverage on the negative towards the Occupyers. They are 100% in support of them. The middle class is alive and well by the way, and you - Deus are spouting the talking points of the left. Don't forget it's your elected President who is doing most of the bailing out of the big corporations. Also, why is all of the stimulus money going to the states- i.e. UNIONS and GOV'T WORKERS. The private sector is being wholly left out of the "stimulus".
