    Default @#(**$ Post Office .... those @#((*$ #"(#*$

So I told a forum member I would buy an item from him in the for sale section, we agree on a price and he gives me his address... I go to the Post Office and get a postal money order for the agreed price, fill it out, and put it in an envelope with a short letter to the guy, seal the envelope and put it in a Priority envelope with Delivery Confirmation... This was on the 13th. They gave me an expected delivery date of the 15th (saturday...yeah right, so I plan on today, monday). I check the delivery confirmation number, and it shows only one scan. That they accepted the letter on the 13th. Nothing more. Nadda. Zip.

Soooooo... I call them. They said it should have been scaned twice more that night, once in Colorado Springs, and again in Denver as it should have gone to the airport. It also should have been scanned at the destination. Nadda. Zipperooony. So now I have to pay $6.00 to file paperwork to try and get my money order refunded. If he doesn't have it by tomorrow I'm going to file the paperwork I guess.

I avoid USPS whenever possible. The only thing good with USPS money orders is that if you get screwed in the deal buy the seller, it becomes a federal crime and they have their own investigators. been there, done that, worked out good for me, really bad for the other guy....jail.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

This is what scares me about the government running ANYTHING else ! How come the only business not trying to push the envelope is the USPS? Good luck Lead Magnet!

Nothing at the house, nothing at the P.O. Box.
Thought it was kind of strange, almost always get something in at least one place.
