My Zero Tolerance 0301 that I carry everyday was $230, so for around
the same price
you get more steel and custom craftsmenship.

Granted a typical camping machete is under $50 but they are average at best stainless steel.

Also I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. YMMV

You would pay 2 to 3 times those prices for custom work done like that at anywhere else.
Prices are rather reasonable for the custom work they do. They do not make the item until it is ordered and then its all hand forged. YMMV

I don't deny they're neat, and I would get one of each if I had more money than good sense.
