exactly. he lied after the fact, he didn't call for a while, he didn't get a lawyer right away. He did lots and lots of things wrong that looked suspicious and still got off.

If you walked outside to go get something out of your vehicle that you left in it, and you saw these guys trying to jack your car and confronted them, then they didn't run and tried to escalate it and make you think you are in imminent fear for your life, I don't see how that wouldn't be justified.

For some people a car is all they have, maybe their way of life and it deserves to be protected. Insurance is nice to have but some people can't afford full coverage insurance. And like the people trying to steal a car, who may be down on their luck, the guy whose care they are trying to steal may be on the verge of losing everything but is trying to scrape by doing things the right way. In the end it is a personal decision to decide whether or not it is worth it. That is what life is made of.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

You can watch at Amazon and HULU. This is a 4 min compilation from episode 10 Season 2. Right at the 2 min mark great example of how to address a tail

Hulu just has clips, no full episodes.

Sorry to interrupt your guys' thread hijack

Update: Walked out to the car this morning.... NOTHING HAPPENED! I'm so glad I didn't have to miss work and deal with Lakewood PD and then file a comprehensive insurance claim.

Okay, back to talking about whatever it is you guys were talking about (can't watch the video right now, phone at the office is ringing off the hook.)

Glad nothing happened. I've had the hairs stand up on the back of my neck while driving quite a few times. None ever turned out to be anything, but still good to keep watching your mirror and I've always made sure to never go straight home. The California plates do raise a bit of suspicion though.

Well the strange part is, the thought crossed my mind and I almost reverted back to my counter-surveillance training ("Section 6: How to detect and lose a tail"), but one I was just to tired to go driving around my neighborhood, and two I dismissed it as paranoia.

    Default Being followed

About a half mile from my house I start looking in my rearview and pay attention to everything behind me to see if anyone is following me. I just think it is a good thing for anyone to do, I have a family to protect and alot of nice stuff.
