do you know the guy? or who he is?

    get a photo of him.

this sounds like something you'll have to handle yourself.

the police will just say "what do you want us to do, charge him with improper bending of a dipstick?"

when it comes to property, even if a crime has been committed, unless they see it happen you're SOL. if it was a 12 year old girl instead of a car, then the police would be much more inclined to do their jobs.

and if you want to whine about "anti-cop", go lock yourself in a woodshed and whine away.

    I'm in a bad mood.

Been there. Even had someone try and open my garage door in the middle of the day. Before I took the GTO apart (again) I came out once to find a young man sitting inside of it.

He was furiously trying to move the shifter but it was going nowhere since being a 72 it has the reverse lock still hooked up. I asked him where he planned on going. I sure like my new car came the reply.

Now do understand that I know who he is and he is autistic and lives about 6 houses down the street. I got him out of the car and had a talk with his parents.

Cover with a car lock. Park front end facing to the street and always try and have a car parked between it and the street. Even though the TA is in the garage the truck is always parked right behind it in the driveway.
I see you running, tell me what your running from

Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.

    Good for you.

I don't feel the need to make bad comments about Police officers. I really like the Douglas County Sheriff's and have had nothing but good interactions with them.

Inside hood releases on GM cars did not start until 73 and then some models did not get them until 78. From 68-72 there was a dealer installed inside hood release option. There were not very popular because they tended to fail at the worst time. My 72 and 76 are both outside releases. And even though the GTO is half torn apart people try and get into it all the time. I have a broken door handle to prove it.

I had a '70 Cutlass and seem to remember I had a piece of chain and a padlock rigged up under there somehow to keep everything locked up. Just like BPTactical suggested.
