    Hell, that's practically what he did! . Did you see him go at it with the brass rod and abrasive polishing compound? OMG.... I can see doing something similar, but the way he was rotating the drill around?

    BTW, I'm pretty sure he said to HACK off 6.5 inches and then marked it at 5.5 inches. I just couldn't make myself watch it again to confirm if I was right or not.

    Well thats how you get symmetry out of the crown! Shoots around corners more gooder.

    As far as his measuring methods- BATF approved tape measure????

    What's with the fancy tools, everyone knows the proper way to crown a barrel is to use a ball bearing or round headed screw and some lapping compound.

    A bolt with lapping compound was the first thing that I thought of. It was popular with the bubbas on SKSboards.com when I used to post there.
