Prayers go out to the family.... But he probably didn't feel a thing, hitting that roadway. Guy trying to make a living dies at his job. RIP.

The police cannot protect the citizen at this stage of our development, and they cannot even protect themselves in many cases. It is up to the private citizen to protect himself and his family, and this is not only acceptable, but mandatory.

That is what many are thinking. The way his head was dragging on the ground, if he wasn't already dead, he was at the very least unconscious and probably didn't feel a thing.

His helmet either broke in half, or fell off when the other bike hit him. You can see it rolling on the ground after the crash. Either way, his head got hit full on by the other bike. You can see why he died.

RIP dude. Sad but true, when you push it the way these guys do, something bad is always a split second from happening...

I have followed Moto GP for a few years and was really starting to like Marco. He had a lot of talent and speed. Looking at the wreck video it looks like the strap on his helmet broke when he was hit by one of the bikes. From what I have read they said he died from chest, neck and head trauma. They tried CPR and to recesitate him for 45 mins. I would like to belive he died instantly and felt no pain. R.I.P. Marco.

I hope he died instantly, so he wasn't alive to suffer the indignity of being dropped by the rescue crew.
