Default Quit smoking 2 days ago

and I feel just fine and havnt even had the desire to have any smokes.

Dont get me wrong I enjoy smoking, but I can not for the life of me stand that ****ing smell and I always had to wash my hands after every smoke
    if possible to do so.

    Well done!

I imagine the everlasting presence of flammable fluids around your work site doesn't hurt, either...

I confess I have smoked a time or 2 on the rig floor and have not needed a skin graft

That will be the test is driving in the winter tired as hell and not smoking as that was and is my trigger for smoking.

Quitting was the best thing I ever did!! I was smoking 2 packs of non filtered Camels a day when I said to hell with it. It is a tough road but stick to your guns and you'll be just fine!! Congrats!!

I dont think its as tough as everyone makes it out to be.
I truthfully smoke for 2 reasons.

    1. I enjoy it
    2. It helps with ulcerative colitis flare ups (only thing tobacco is good for)

I will quit until my next flare up(a year or 2) and then start smoking to help the flare up go away then stop again until the next flare.
UC is simular to crohn's disease FWIW.

I quit twice, first time for 5 years. The second time for 3 years. There always seems to be a major incident that triggers a weak moment and I start smoking again.

Hope you can stick to the plan.
