I spilled a mtn dew on one that was turned off. I just shook it out and let it sit for a few hours and it worked fine.

I "dropped" a work cell phone in the toilet while it was on (on a call). It was DOA

EDIT: actually a better one, my mom dropped her cell phone in the toilet (a razor I think) and flushed it before she realized it (she was going through chemo at the time) it got stuck in the pipe My step dad removed the toilet and fished it out. The only thing that didnt work after drying it out was the camera.
