    Default Fun shooting today!

Too much snow to work on the crapper today, so a buddy brought his TacOps X-Ray 51 suppressed rifle up to the cabin today. Sweetest rifle I've ever held, let alone shot. We had a Helluva time getting the target placed on the hillside across the way (too much snow), but finally managed to get it placed. 6"x6" steel (at only 260 yards today). Repeated chimes from the steel is a heart-warming thing.

    TacOps X-Ray 51:

You can't see the steel with this crappy phone pic, but it's there:

Mellow report, followed by music (you gotta click the pic):

    Very good day.

Whew from the name I was thinking it was going to be some futuristic looking piece of crap. That's a nice looking rifle.

I like how textured the stock is. If you can't grip that you don't have hands. What is the Cal?

    It's a .308. Here's a link to a good review on the rifle:

The damn thing almost shoots itself.
