    Default xdm modifications

    have a xdm 40 4.5". looking at spring rods and trigger kits. any noticable feel in recoil and accuracy? recommended brands?

    Haven't done anything to my XDm yet, but i was thinking trigger job, and extended mag release. Springer precision makes some great parte for the XD and XDm lines.

    Check what the offerings are from "Powder River" as well. I just got done putting in the PRP Ultimate setup for a gent and it makes a HUGE difference on take up, break and overtravel.
    Some components are a drop in but others require some fitting which can be time consuming- assemble/disassemble about 8 times not to mention the sear spring can make you wish you have 3 hands.
    But totally worthwhile.
    The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...

    i see you around a lot on the forum, have you modified and fired many xdm's? what about a don's solid guide rod vs a tungsten? thx for taking time to answer. i will check out your site. are you far from Brighton area?
