At first, I thought the arresting officer was an idiot but once I got a little more perspective she seemed reasonable in her assumption that the car was stolen.

When I was much younger, I was returning home from a party with the female unit and we were partaking in some activity while driving that should have been conducted anywhere but in a vehicle...
I was so startled when I saw the red and blue lights in the rear-view mirrorthat I pulled over to the left side of the interstate. The trooper got on his PA and told me to get my ass over to the other side of the road... which I did. I then got one of the biggest ass chewings of my life.
My point is:
Since when is it acceptable to pull over to the left side of the road? Especially if you're an LEO? It makes me wonder if this guy was totally out of his mind, under the influence, or something else.
Or have times changed and the left side is A-OK now on 1 way roads?

if you want to delve into the mindset, spend some time in the police sections of other gun forums on the web.
sometimes their attitudes are downright sickening.
