Appreciate all the replys guys. My wife was thinking something cool was gonna be going down
when she was heading to her friends house in Capital Hill area.

I hope the protesters get violent and DPD puts them in their place.

Watching the video coverage was hilarious, a lot of pepper sprayed male protesters
crying and whining form being sprayed was so nice to see and hilarious.

For the record, I have been hit with pepper spray in order to carry it etc and
it wasnt as bad as those ****ing douchebags were making it out to be.

You know, the irony here is, you see all the people demanding jobs. I bet the DPD is hiring.

This whole thing is so screwed up, I really do not understand what they are protesting. It makes no sense at all. I hear nothing but contradiction and whining about the economy, while wearing their Hope and Change Tshirts. Amazing.

its like watching 2 retarded kids fight over a candy apple that fell into the dirt.

neither is right and even if one wins, they are still retarded.

They probably won't be. They are going to minimum staffing from what I understand by disbanding some specialty units and forcing early retirements. From what I have heard it will possibly be around 1300 total officers...just food for thought, similar sized cities have between 4000 and 5000 officers.

They are a bunch of pansies. I have been hit with pepper spray numerous times for training and to show co-workers that it can be worked through and it isn't as bad as it seems...it sucks and it hurts, but you can deal with it.

My wife works with a 20-something year old hippy nurse who claimed she got arrested for doing nothing more than "making a grilled cheese sandwich".

Bunch 'o douchebags. This would be a fantastic time to dump a big load of chlorine into the gene pool in cities across the country.
