I doubt anybody here is surprised to find out that al-Qaida has their hooks in Libya, but they're moving into the open according this article.
Afghanistan II, here we come.

I haven't fought al-qaedas in a while. Be a nice breather from these talibans. (not serious)

I have been wondering for a while now why we are fighting against Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan while funding the rebels in Libya who are connected to Al-Qaeda at the same time? We should be fighting them everywhere since they are our enemy not funding them in Libya because it suits our purpose there. You can't tell me that the State Department and CIA did not know that the rebels in Libya were connected to Al-Qaeda somehow. Even the London Telegraph has been reporting on the rebels being tied to Al-Qaeda. I would bet Hillary knew when she was meeting with the rebels back during the summer that the rebels were somehow connected to Al-Qaeda.
Of course I am just a conspiracy theorist.
Lets face it, our fearless leader is probably in bed with al qaeda, and an inner rivalry resulted in bin laden getting pinched.
In all seriousness, who else believes that al qaeda was behind the arab spring all along, thru the middle east, in an attempt to unseat dictatorships, to make room for themselves? All we have done is help spread the seeds of weeds in the forest.
planting weeds to destroy weeds, will not help your lawn. It only begets more weeds.
