Property Survey Cost

Can anybody give me a guesstimate on what it will cost to have my house property surveyed?

I have a new neighbor that wants to build a fence between us. I'm thinking of getting a survey done so I know where the property line falls. This is between two residential houses in central Denver.

Anybody have a ballpark price range to get it done?

I paid $150 for a plat map done on our property in 2007.

If you are not in agreement of them building a fence, you can force your neighbor to pay for the survey before building the fence. Check with your local ordinances.
