I was about to say that you've got the ugliest cat I've ever seen - looks too much like a pike.

Gorgeous cat - beautiful eyes. (Shut up dog lovers - I'm not gay, it' a cat owner thing...you wouldn't understand!).

Really Thomas-CTFO- in this day and age it is perfectly acceptable to be in touch with your "Feline" side

Glad to hear she is back. I said to myself, "I bet he found his cat by now, let's go check it out." Sure enough.

Congratulations on finding her, and more importantly for not giving up hope! There is absolutely no other feeling than the sigh of relief when you find your loved one after they've been missing for days.

Someone broke into my apartment in Boulder several years ago when I still lived there. My cat got out, couldn't have picked a better time either. It was finals time at CU in December, so naturally it was warm outside. But, as soon as she got out, a big storm rolled in. I spent 14hrs searching for her straight, performing a spiral search pattern, until I was too exhausted from the all-nighter studying and it being like 3am. Reluctantly went to bed, didn't sleep and woke up the next day to find a storm had rolled in that night and it had rained, then snowed on top of the ice. Went out and kept searching, refusing to give up. Found her right outside my apartment, maybe 50' from my door, hiding in a huge juniper bush. She was scared, frozen, wet/icy (it rained/snowed that night so she actually had bits of ice in her fur). Brought her inside, made a kitty burrito with a towel and she was purring so loudly. There was no greater feeling than to have held her for so long after such a daring venture outside. She no longer has a desire to go outside though.

Awesome! I like starting a day with good news - thanks!

Take some pics of her to share (and in case she pulls this trick again).

Jumped right over a 6' fence (ripped my dress pants to ****) fought off some ferocious yappy dogs.. (just stomped at them) and had to dig her out of a bush..

    I have my kitty though!
glad you found her before the snow

Oh she got mug shots last night..

Anytime I went near the door she came to it, now I'm gonna have to be super careful.

She 'hid' last night in the couch and it was funny listening to her get out of it this morning.. dumb cat.

It was certainly good to have her back in my lap last night.. anytime I sat down she was there.. curled up and purring away.
