I feel for you guys. It's 77 here in South Florida, with a pleasant breeze out of the northeast.

Shoveled snow from 1-9:30 this morning and I don't need the money. I think me and my brother might be the last of our kind. Just a couple of white backs.

Studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta 4's & All Wheel Drive on a 4000 lb Wide Track 2005 Automatic Element EX with only 32K Miles on it... Yeah... It really does stomp upon the tarmac. Ice? Snow? HA! No Problem. I have "broken trail" in 10-ish Inches of California Concrete and 20 Inches of Rocky Mountain White Gold. Just drive until you get a big pile up front... stop... back up... go around the pile and repeat the process.

But... just in case things get REALLY NASTY... I am retrofitting a set on Tracks to it... More Ground Clearance... Better Mudding Capabilities... Better Sand Capabilities... Better Water Fording Capabilities. Should be fun!

Are you really putting those tracks onto the Element? Seems like the axles might be too weak on one of those.
