    Thank you all for your great suggestions. So far, I really like the POSP BP-02 (and the price) from eastwave. My only questions are these: do I need to buy additional hardward to mount it to the receiver and is it something I can do myself of would I need a gunsmith?

    well i am going to guess and say you don't need any additional hardware, but that is assuming wasr-10's still come standard with a side rail

    here is a very high quality us made rail that allos you to mount it without having to re-rivet the rear trunnion rivet. Cruffler steve on here swears by these mounts and i have heard nothing but good things about them

    I really like this one. I want my mount to go above the receiver. My AK is an under-folder so I really don't want to add any more weight with a gas tube rail. Plus I really like the look of the wood finish. Thansk!

    ahhhh i didn't realize you have an underfolder. you can't use a regular comblack side rail then.

    You could always go thid route, for a rail on that underfolder. they come with either AR style rear sight, or HK style rear sight. Website to buy them is below.
