i for one dont see that as beating the crap out of someone . the video and usa today segment smell of lawyer . why wait 7 years ? i call bull sh*t . this society has gone down hill ever since a spanking has become a beating . while i do think there are better was to discipline a teenager. i do not see where he did anything wrong . we dont know the back story on what led to this , it could have built up over years , other punishments may not have worked , ect.
