    Default First Build Del-Ton

I just built my first AR, this is my first time actually owning an AR platform so still very new to it. I figured Id just get some of the better parts now and save the money on upgrades later. ANy advice on a low profile gas block so I can drop flip ups on it? Something mid range and functional, side sling?? Thought Id drop a photo. Any opinions on ammunition to use? Places to Shoot?

Congrats on your new rifle buddy.

Move your rear sight back to the last notch, as far as it will go.

Why dont you want your front sight?

    You should keep it.

As far as putting a gas block(which I think you should keep the FSB)

If you MUST, keep the FSB an just shave it down.

Gas blocks can move and you dont want that.

I have a friend with an M4 and he has a DD rail with flip sight. It makes NO sense to me because of the short sight radius on a 7" rail.

As far as ammo, I feed my rifles everything, if it doesnt take it, its a piece.

I would recommend federal from walmart works fine. Winchester is good.

I use alot of M855,But check your chamber first and see if its 5.56, I hear Del-ton SAYS its 5.56 but then you ream it and its not
