Default Moving to Colorado with firearms

    Hey all,

I live in Massachusetts right now but am getting ready to move out to Colorado, specifically the Fort Collins - Loveland area by the end of the year. I own a number of firearms and my question is if there is anything I need to do before bringing my guns into the state to remain legal. Will I need some sort of permit/license etc etc.

If anyone could give me some info on the process I would appreciate it greatly

    Thanks

As long as you have enough for everyone on the forum you can bring them.

According to state statute # 456.234-BC the only requirement is that you shoot them with me..

I live in Windsor which is just next door to Fort Collins/Loveland.

    One thing to add:

I doubt you have any class II or III firearms coming from MA, which are both legal in CO. However, you need to fill out the federal forms to move them across state lines.

Colorado is also a shall issue state for a concealed carry permit...get that as well.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I couldn't either, lived there twice in my life, the US Govt forced me to. Good folks, great geography but I despised the state socially and politically...still do.

If you get home-sick you can always cruise over to Boulder or into Denver to find some of the "Mass-hole mind-set" (****ed-in-the-head libtards) but beyond that...this is still the real-world man.

Good call on your part to perform the advance due diligence re: CO firearms laws but it bothers me greatly that any American even has to ask this. Just get here...life is far, far better...and bring us some lobsters...

    Welcome...

Everyone forgot one little detail. All firearms must be inspected by me and I collect one as a fee. Thanks for your cooperation
