Might not have been the first poly pistols, screw HK and their POS VP70 and P9, but Glocks do work. Wonder how much Gaston Glock has made over the past 30 years? Wish I would have thunk up the G17.
Yep. Revolutionary 30 years ago. But not EVOLUTIONARY. Now mainstream, and the competition has been catching up.

I'm really curious as to what these, as yet unnamed, superior firearms are.

Find me where I mentioned that the term SUPERIOR in my 2 post. I mentioned BETTER, because even If I have owned (and still have 3 of them) several Glock, I think there is better product out there.

The XDM (not the XD), the SW MP, The FNP are all highly inspired by Glock, but they are in many way improvements....

Glock sales have dropped in the last 2-3 years and I know for a fact that last December the gun shops at 2 large retailer in Denver where selling XDs at a rate of 3 for 1 glock.... Same price.

Better is a synonym for superior.

How are any of those better, in any way?

I hadn't heard Glock sales were dropping. I have hear they're 500,000-700,000 units backlogged, though.

Better ergonomics, cleaner trigger pull, dual safety for some of them, loaded chamber indicator. Just from my observation.
